About Me

Shams Abrar

I'm Shams Abrar, a Computer Science student at Drexel University with a passion for AI, robotics, and using technology to solve real-world problems. Currently, I serve as the Tech Lead for BModelr Inc.

As a STARS Scholar and Dean's List recipient, I'm dedicated to academic excellence while actively participating in organizations like Drexel AI and Hack4Impact to apply my skills toward meaningful projects.

My journey in technology began with competitive programming and national science competitions, where I developed strong problem-solving skills that I now apply to my research and engineering work.

Currently, I'm working as a Machine Learning Engineer in Drexel's Vertically Integrated Research Program, focusing on the Future of Power & Energy.

When I'm not coding or researching, I'm passionate about giving back to the community through volunteer work, particularly with Saint Baldrick's Foundation through my fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon.
